I like when people create easy, self-contained solutions to problems that I hear people ask about all the time. In this case, the problem is getting old record albums converted to digital.
The solution in this case, is a turntable with built-in USB recording capability, and some included software. Yeah, the quality probably isn't all that great, but neither are most people's 30 year old albums that have been sitting stacked, in a dark basement for 20 years.
$130 or so from Amazon, and the problem is solved.

I considered buying one of these when it came out. The key feature is that you don't need a mixer between it and your computer to enable the recording. It is less valuable to me since I do have a setup with a mixer already in place.
As for all-in-one, it might just be the snarky Monday in me, but to truly be all-in-one, there needs to be a record button on the TT. That button would be smart enough to speak over the USB and make sure Audacity (or whatever) gets fired up and starts recording in your favorite format and bit rate. Once that's done, it would let you know with an audible, and visual, cue and then you drop the stylus and it just works. When you hit the record button again, or the track finishes and you hit the run out, it would stop recording. No muss, no fuss.
It would also be nice if it when and fingerprinted the audio for you so you could name it properly, but here I am going crazy with things that would be useful :)
