So, I got to quote a badass Led Zeppelin song, and have the title be completely applicable to the topic. Who is the last company on Earth you would want to buy a portable music player (or DAP as Engadget likes to call them)? Anyone? If you said Packard Bell, we are in complete agreement. Why haven't they died yet?
See it here in all its patheticness.

You know, when I saw that the other day, I was like, 'Packard Bell, didn't they die in the late 90's?' If my computer was any indication, this thing will be a total POS. I just can't imagine why they still keep the brand around, it's not like they have a positive brand image to hang on or keep up.

The worst problem is that it comes with 4 songs and they are welded to the motherboard. Hope you like "Don't Worry, Be Happy".
I'm not sure if that, or the fact that they created ANOTHER proprietary format, and then named it MTV is worse. Don't they know MTV doesn't play music?
